Amazing meal. We're of the opinion that Italian American seafood cuisine is the best the city has to offer. California fish market restaurant is just one of many of the great italian style seafood restaurants here in North Beach. The dungness crab linguine was amazing. Perfectly al dente pasta with soft, sweet crab meat in it. The whole roasted branzino is a staple of italian spots around here. It was roasted to perfection and perfectly tender. But the star of the show (as usual) was the cioppino. Rich, sweet tomatoey goodness. Amazingly fresh and well cooked seafood.
